Ofsted last visited the school in November 2011.  The school was graded as 'Outstanding' in 24 of the 27 inspection indicators including attainment, achievement, progress, enjoyment, safety, leadership, curriculum, governance, partnerships, community and pastoral care.

The sixth form achieved 'Outstanding' in every criteria.

The quality of teaching across the school was also judged to be 'Outstanding' - an accolade given to just 3% of schools nationally.

Alexandra Park School is an outstanding school.  It is a reflective and self-critical organisation which lives its aim to "put learning first" through through its every action.  Students are highly motivated learners who make rapid progress through outstanding teaching, an excellent curriculum and exemplary care and support.
