Pre-order your Christmas Tree

APSA invites you to pre-order your Christmas trees.

The trees are 150/170cm (5ft-6ft) premium grade ‘Nordman low drop’ Christmas trees.

The trees are to be collected on Monday 2nd December, the day of our annual Christmas lecture, choir and festivities, from the school playground.

On the 2nd December, the trees can be collected between 4:30 – 7:15pm (the Christmas lecture will run between 6:00-7:00pm). We regret you will be unable to pick up your tree at any other time.

Information on the Christmas lecture and how to sign up will be shared soon.

Please fill in the order form available to Download here and the Payment option will be set up on ParentPay when the form is returned to the school office.

Key Terms and Conditions:

  • The school needs to meet the minimum order number required by the supplier. If this number is not met, we will not be able to place the order and the money paid via Parent Pay will be refunded.
  • The tree collections are on a first come first served basis, so if you would like to have a choice of the tree please arrive early.
  • There is no parking on the school site. Trees will need to be carried to the location of the car outside of school or carried home.
  • If we have a suitable amount of volunteers, we will endeavour to assist you to carry the tree to the car (not homes) but this may not be possible.
  • The trees must be collected on Monday 2nd December at the times specified. 
  • The school has no facility for refunding after the order has been placed, please contact the supplier directly (information available on request) if there are issues,  you may need to take the tree back to the supplier in Reigate if you are dissatisfied.

Please note this is also the date of the Y10 student progress day.

What is the Alexandra Park School Association? (APSA)

The Alexandra Park School Association represents all parents/carers in the school and all parents/carers and staff are automatic members of APSA.

We are a registered charity (No. 1093561) and have a constitution, which you can view here.

APSA is run by a small committee of parents/carers drawn from across the school.  We always welcome new volunteers, who can join committees or help volunteer to make individual events successful for the school community.  

In the school year 2018-19 we organised the Christmas Tree event and a parent quiz, attended by over 200 people. We also supported at many music productions and the summer community event.

The AGM was helped on the 1st November 2018 and we elected the following members into names positions:

  • Co-Chair: Chris McNeill
  • Co-Chair: Alison Hills
  • Treasurer: Sheena Patel
  • Secretary: Lara Ford

How you could get involved

We are always looking for help - either in the run-up and preparation for an event or on the day / night itself.  Even if you can help with one thing in the year, it would make a difference.  You don't have to be available for everything.

Our main activity is fundraising on behalf of the school and have supported the hardship fund, physics lab and in the financing of a new minibus.

Tickets4School

Tickets4Schools is an established and successful fund-raising scheme designed to raise much needed monies for schools and their PTA's.

Theatre and event tickets are sold directly to parents and staff of the school at a discounted price but inclusive of a mandatory donation (usually £5.00 per ticket) to the school. The more tickets sold via the school, the more money is raised. It's as simple as that!
