As Andy Williams croons on his 60’s classic, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”, Christmas offers the opportunity for us to spend quality time with family and friends. It is a holiday where, for just a few weeks, most people are nice to strangers on public transport! It is far too easy to try and write the holiday off as crass and over commercial. I disagree, Christmas is what we make it.
To me, it is a special time of year. A time to take stock of our lot and be grateful for all that we have. This can be on a personal level but also in a professional context. It is a pleasure working in such a successful school: committed staff, supportive families and happy students. A potent recipe for achievement.
I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has a part to play in our success.
Happy holidays to all and I wish everyone the best through 2020.
