Our Sixth Form students once again demonstrated their ability to secure places on demanding courses at competitive universities throughout the country.

The school maintained its impressive record of sending students to Oxford and Cambridge with students reading a variety of courses at these two universities including: Literature, History, HSPS (that’s Human, Social and Political Sciences!), Natural Sciences, Engineering, French and Medicine.

Russel Group Universities remain very popular this year with destinations including Imperial, King’s, Warwick, Birmingham, Loughborough, Edinburgh, Leeds, Bath, UCL and Glasgow.

The top five University destinations were Sheffield, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester and Nottingham.

Our three hundred students chose 103 different courses that are as varied as the individuals who studied with us. They include the regulars of Maths, Physics, Chemistry, History, Music, Law and Economics. Alongside the North London favourites of Literature, Media, Film and Journalism. There was also a heavy dose of the more adventurous Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, Veterinary Science, Civil Engineering, Dentistry, PPE, Midwifery, Medicine and Palaeontology. The interesting sounding courses of War Studies. Music with Spanish or Politics, Sexuality and Gender made an appearance this year. The standout favourite though, for 2025, was Physics with Astrophysics and Cosmology – a wonderful course at King’s but this student may get rather tired writing the course name out on future job applications.

The class of 2025 secured a record number of University places this year and wherever they may be going on the next stage of their journey they take our good wishes with them.
