Does your child hold it together at school but fall apart at home? Do they seem fine on the outside but tell you, or show you, that they are anything but? You are not imagining it, and it is not your fault.
Join Helen Cooke, Speech and Language Therapist, Advanced AuDHD Coach, founder of NeuroNurtured (www.neuronurtured.co.uk), and mum to a neurodivergent daughter, for an honest and practical session on understanding and supporting anxiety in able, autistic young people. Helen will explain why so many of our brightest students are also our most anxious, what is actually happening in their nervous systems, and, most importantly, what we can do about it. This session is full of practical strategies you can use straight away, and a perspective that may well change the way you see your child.
All are welcome. You do not need a diagnosis to attend.
We are pleased to invite you to a coffee morning in school on Monday 29th June 9-10am. We will be hosting a workshop with Helen Cooke, and it will be a valuable session to build connections and experiences with other families.
To cover the cost, we ask for a £5 donation towards the cost of the session. If you would like support with your booking, please do not hesitate to contact us.
